Position Description:
|
Valve assembler needed for a valve company in Houston located in West Houston. Position also will include reading drawings, understanding measurements, and reading measurement tools. Ball valve assembly experience is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

Key Job Responsibilities:
·Regulates length and width of cut by adjusting tension of material, synchronizing timing of cutting blades with rate of material feed.
·Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run cut, and sample sheets
·Collects cut material by adjusting takeoff mechanism
·Maintains production and quality by observing machine operation, detecting malfunctions, adjusting settings, replacing worn blades
·Resolves production problems by altering process to meet specifications, notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
·Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs. |
